Create Positive and Productive Collaboration
Trainer: Karin Wenus
Do you sometimes have difficulties in collaboration? Are you interested in constructive collaboration? Do you want to have a better understanding for patterns in terms of behaviour in collaboration? If you ask yourself how you can learn more about your personal traits to work better in a team and to better understand your behaviour as well as others, then this workshop is for you.
This workshop is based on the Riemann Thoman model (1902-1979). Fritz Riemann was a psychiatrist who published the book „the fundamental dimensions of fear“ in 1969.
We all have developed a certain pattern in living different kind of characteristics in our private and professional lives. Each characteristic involves specific needs and fears, just like two sides of a medal.
During the workshop, we will reflect and discuss the traits of personality based on the Riemann / Thomann model. We will find out our distinct personal traits and learn to use them effectively in terms of collaboration. We will see how to get a better understanding for others' views and behaviour. We will find strategies to gain constructive collaborations. With this knowledge, we will have opportunities to avoid conflicts and solve them in a smart manner.
Here are the outcomes we will be focusing on:
- Awareness of interpersonal differences in needs, fears and the evaluation of situations
- Gain a better understanding of your typical strengths and weaknesses when collaborating with others
- Will understand the motives and behavior of other paople involved in collaboration
- Learn how to use this model for your own personal development as well as for working in a team in your work invironment
