Changes at Work – Managing your Transition

Do you feel confused or frustrated with your working life and career so far? Have you been made redundant or have the desire to break free? Or are there many changes going on in your immediate work environment which you really want to understand?
With these questions in mind we will explore the process of transition within the work situation and find ways to survive and find motivation to overcome the possible challenges.
We will focus on the following:
Learning how to make transition easier and smoother
Navigating through the situation to find a new ‘bearing’
Finding ways to increase motivation
As this is an interactive workshop, we will be supporting and learning from one another.
Please note that in this workshop we will delve more into how we cope with the psychological
aspects of transitions rather than cover the practical ways to changing jobs - this being the
subject of other workshops.
James Fearn, your trainer for the evening, has worked for over 20 years’ in IT project and
product management on the front-line of businesses.
Having taken a recent sabbatical, James’ interest in transitions is due to the fact they he is going through his own transition being guided by his recently-achieved coaching qualification. He can therefore report at first hand from his own experience!
