Motivation and Effective Decision-making
Trainer: Elena Marsh
There are times when we find ourselves at a crossroads or in the midst of a change and faced with many options. How do we determine which choice to take? In a fast-paced world with a host of pressures surrounding us and where we become increasingly disconnected, how can we motivate ourselves when things seem overwhelming?
Ultimately, our individual ability to succeed depends on making decisions that support us in keeping our personal internal stability and external equilibrium.
Have you ever taken a moment to examine how you made decisions in the past and how you are making them now? Have you considered whether your decisions are in alignment with your values or driven by fear-based limiting beliefs? Understanding the process of how we make decisions is vitally important. Your personal growth depends on it.
In this workshop you will learn:
- why making decisions could be difficult for you
- what you can do to make your decision-making process easier
- how can you make decisions more effectively
“All human activity is prompted by desire” - Bertrand Russell . We are motivated by satisfying our needs from our current level of psychological development. However, our unmet needs from former levels of psychological development usually dominate and we respond to these.
Self-awareness is key to understanding which forces drive us and affect our decision making. The aim of this workshop is to increase the awareness of the participants in this respect. At the end we will arrive at a clearer picture of our current level of psychological development as well as the level of consciousness we operate from.
